Chiawa is a cultural village founded as a partnership between wildlife conservation organizations (Africa Wildlife Foundation (AWF)), Conservation Lower Zambezi and the Goba people of Chiawa to empower the local community to benefit from the tourism trade. The village allows visitors to Zambia to experience the Goba culture and engage with the traditions, trades, tools, edifices and arts of the local craftspeople. (Jul-17)

If you have a medical problem when in Zambia, Specialty Emergency Services has a Call Centre (24 hours). Phone them on 737. This company has offices in Livingstone, Lusaka and Kitwe. But they will fly anywhere to assist if visitors have the right insurance.
