From the EN1 turn left at the Inhassoro marker. Drive 14 km, this is a very narrow tar strip, currently under construction. Next turn off. This is a sand road, turn off next to the school and opposite shops. Drive on this road for 4 km, entrance gate on right hand side of road. This road is sandy, with thick sand in places and bumpy.

The best time to travel is from April to September. The rainy season is in summer. The nearest airport is the Vilanculos International Airport, 90km or 1 hour away. Shuttle and car rental services are available. Bookings are preferred but not essential, email bookings are the most reliable. The road is tarred but there are potholes between Vilanculos and Inhassoro.
Keep to the speed limit as indicated when driving in Mozambique and be very aware of pedestrians, especially children.
