Gache Gache campsite is situated on the Gache Gache River, Lake Kariba and is a beautiful camping area for the self-drive tourist, well maintained with plenty of huge shade trees.

5 small campsites - some suited to 2 vehicles only. One large one for 4/5 vehicles. Beautiful location. Hot showers, flushing toilets. No power, water available but not purified. Pre booking is required.

Note that Gache Gache Lodge is closed, only the campsite is operational.

ACCESS:
As Gache Gache Lodge is situated on a remote part of Lake Kariba, east of the Sanyati Gorge, most guests arrive by boat or fly in, and access by 4x4 vehicles is popular. (2019)

CAMPING INFO:
During May 2015 this campsite was temporarily out of use as it was overgrown. They were allowed to camp on the lawn at the lodge, and were provided with a bathroom.
