Bape Campsite serves mainly as an overnight stop for travellers between the northern an southern parts of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. The campsite is large, with some limited shade, and no shower or toilet facilities.
Since May 2011 DWNP changed the ruling and now allows payment of entry fees at the gates again. When you pay you are issued with a park entry permit which serves as your official receipt. For more information on payment of park fees contact the DWNP at +267(0)686 1265 or +267(0)397 1405.
