Cultural Village Living Museum Of The Mbunza

West of Rundu, about 14km away, situated at the Samsitu Lake is the Living Museum of the Mbunza, a traditional village of the Kavango, who has lived in this area for centuries. This is a traditional school for culture and a sustainable project for the local people where they will be able to preserve their traditional culture and to generate an additional income.

You cannot pre-book a visit here. The programs start on the arrival of guests. The people in the Living Museum are very flexible and everything from the length of the programs, starting times, etc. can be discussed with the guide or manager at the reception of the Living Museum.

All payments (museum, crafts) must be done in Cash. You will receive a receipt for your payment.
