Omukutu Nature Farm And Black Rock Campsite

Nestled in the remote wilderness of the Erongo mountains, home to the rare black mongoose in Namibia, lies Farm Omukutu and the Black Rock Campsite.
This pristine location only has one farm road in and out so there is no through traffic and the area is abundant with wildlife and bird life. Leopard, hyena, zebra, kudu, gemsbok, black faced impala, Damara Dik Dik, and giraffe all meander past the campsite on their through to a small dam to drink.
Relax with a beer at our home made bar or walk to our small splash pool and cool off whilst looking onto the dam or across the Erongo mountains. (4x4 vehicle recommended. Can drive a 2x4 vehicle but must have some clearance due to very rocky road in some places).

The campsite offers inside and outside flush toilets, solar lit kitchen area with sink, bar with seats, braai/BBQ area. There are no power points or laundry facilities, and also no ice. There is not much shade at the campsite. There is only 1 site which can accommodate up to 10 people. Only 1 group at a time can book so you have the place to yourselves. Wood is available at NAD30 per bundle.

Bookings must be a minimum of 2 nights. This campsite is pet friendly, but only to well behaved dogs please. (October-2017).
