The Resort in the heart of the Swartland at Misverstand Dam is about an hour's drive from Cape Town and a great option for a weekend breakaway. They offer accommodation in cottages, houses and a caravan and camping site. Campsites are well grassed with a view of the Berg River. The restaurant is well worth a visit, and Elani can also be booked for events and parties. They are not that busy during the week but its necessary to book well in advance for weekends. (24-Aug-11).
