Accommodation comprises furnished self-catering lodges, chalets and cottages, furnished cottages with communal kitchen facilities and private verandas, chalets with verandas, braai (barbeque) facilities and communal ablution facilities and campsites with braai areas and also communal ablution facilities. None of the lodges and cottages have a shower, only baths. Chalets have no bathroom but the campsite ablutions have hot showers from donkeys. Old school and a bit dilapidated, but generally working. Accessible by tar road from Bulawayo or Vic Falls. There is a bar, restaurant and grocery store.

“Camped here again October 2019. Everything still the same. Power points are now available for campers at the ablution blocks. With Kariba Dam very low this season, Zim is struggling with power supply, but there is a generator in Main camp, which supplies power at night.
