Renosterveld Wild Flower Reserve is located in the village of Darling on a hill just behind the Darling Primary School. The reserve was donated by the local Versveld family in 1958, and is run by the local municipality today. This 20 hectares of land forms part of the Darling commanage which have been maintained to preserve the local endemic flowers in the area. The reserve is open to the public all year round. Entry is free. Best time to visit is between July and October for the colourful Darling spring flowers. (Jul-16)
